The 3rd annual Rockin Trail Run takes place at Vermont's scenic Niquette Bay State Park. Rolling trails provides terrific vistas and beauty during the the peak of autumn. Traversing over trail, rock, sand and gravel, this course offers terrain varied enough to accomodate both walkers and seasoned trail runners alike.
Staring from a common trail head - There is something for EVERYONE!
- 1 Milers will enjoy a beautiful (relatively flat) loop circling back in time to greet the first 5K participants across the finish line.
- 5K participants will relish in the "Rockin" trail offerings of the Ledges Trail Loop
- 10K participants will challenge themselves by combining all that Niquette Bay can serve up - from rolling ledges, to stair climbs and long rooted traverses!
The event also includes a post-race refreshments, top-notch prizes, and entertainment complete with music and fun loving volunteers. Its a great place to be with great people supporting a worthy cause!
Proceeds to benefit the Sjögren's (SHOW-grins) Syndrome Foundation - the only non-profit dedicated to finding a cure for Sjögren's, a serious autoimmune disease that affects the moisture producing glands and can cause severe medical complications.
